The Open House is an annual meeting to celebrate all the things we have done in the past year, and to mark what is on the horizon. It is for us to look at the administrative work, the creativity, and the radical and optimistic planning that has gotten us where we are. This meeting is also for us to see where we are on our way to our wishes: the deep ones, the weird ones, as well as our road to transition (by 2023) into a decentralized cellular structure collectively and cooperatively defined by people who use it.
Where we are:
The online practice you know has existed since March 2020 (with collaborative twinkles and experiments since 2016). In the past 33 months, with your input, we have developed a very structured and useful protocol to practice: The Hologram. The protocol came to be by offering iterations of courses, rituals, workshops, and mutual aid sessions (Minimum Viable Hologram) where we could try things out, get feedback and learn from experience. Through these events, both online and in person (since 2021), we have gathered a large community of people who now practice The Hologram. To our delight, many of these people became familiars, who all kind of stuck around together by the virtual snack table. We never dreamed that so many people would want to stay together, to hang out, and to become more involved in the project. Now we have a community of AT LEAST a few hundred people in the Hologram project. This all has been able to happen because of the labor and input of all of you, OUR FAMILIARS. If you are reading this, we mean you!
Open House Agenda:
At this meeting we will bring together as many of our familiars as possible to focus on two main areas:
+ We will ask you to reflect back to us the patterns, wishes, and trajectories that you see. Together, we will try to match the map of what we envision with the land we stand on.
