The Hologram has existed in its current form since early 2020. Ugh! What both a long time and a baby period. Now, there have been over a thousand people all around the world who have called on their three friends, or three strangers, to gift them their time and attention so together they could build health and stability independent of any institution, but entangled with one another. We have also become a community of practitioners. Some of us have been meeting with our holograms for close to three years. Many of our supporters now have their own holograms. And some of their supporters are forming the third generation of people working towards our shared main agenda: for all caretakers to be well cared for!
Now, The Hologram has some money. Ugh, and yay! Even more importantly, we have amassed quite some knowledge and instinct amongst its organizers about what it means to offer a practice of nonhierarchical care to others. We would like all of this to flow and get re-distributed. In other words, we would like to support you in developing your project.
We came up with a process for anybody to apply with a project (course, research, educational tool, one-off workshop, paid position, publication, exhibition, etc etc etc) to get support from The Hologram, while they would also be supporting and connecting with others who work on Hologram-related stuff.
When to become one with the UGH: Are you wishing to use the Hologram protocol in your own community? Would you like to develop a project in which you bring The Hologram practice to a specific place? Or do you imagine bringing knowledge or practices from other communities into conversation with The Hologram? Do you have an idea for a tool that will make the Hologram more accessible or easy to use? Do you need support to make these dreams come true? What does support look like to you: resources, feedback, guidance, tools, money?
UGH will be a group of all who currently organize, or have just finished a project, in and around The Hologram. So, you would work with course and workshop facilitators, people who offer the Hologram protocol as mutual aid, social movement researchers, organizers of local Communities of Practice, and many more. They would give you feedback on your proposal, help you with planning your budget, timeline, and post-project reflection. As you do your project, you will get support and feedback in the UGH regular assemblies, while you support and give feedback to others.

We hope that one day this assembly of organizers for health autonomy and liberation becomes a special anticapitalist fund/militia of resources, energy, rigor, and attention where we make our dreams possible by supporting each other and making decisions together.
