We are looking for a new person to train for the position of the Administer of United Groundskeepers of Hologram -the assembly of all Hologram organizers.
deadline to apply: December 14th!
The United Groundskeepers of Hologram is the support and agitation group that unites people who organize with and around The Hologram. Its main purpose is to flow the instincts and knowledge gained in Hologram related organizing, as well as to redistribute the resources The Hologram has at its disposal.
The UGH Administrix is the squirrel who holds up the shed in which the Groundskeepers keep their tools and where they hide from the rain. The organizers support each other, the Administrix is there to help them maintain the infrastructure of those support threads. They help people develop and present their projects to the UGH Assembly. In this process, they communicate the values of The Hologram project. They don’t make decisions for the group at any turn, only as a rank member of UGH. Their underlying agenda, however, is to remember and remind people of the wild wishes The Hologram is built on.
Who are we looking for?
We hope for a person with a variety of experience in collective organizing. For somebody who has been through difficult collaborations. Ideally, somebody who has been a part of different anarchist and communal organizing, both on the rank member level and as a person with more responsibility. For somebody who can work across cultural differences and doesn’t privilege the U.S. or European ideas of fairness, comfort, safety. For somebody with fire. For somebody capable of asking for help. For a person keen on learning from The Hologram, its practitioners and organizers. For someone who asks really weirdly good questions.
